Our inferred build up area is calculated based on the total floor level (from URA planning decision) and the building area (obtained from geospatial images).
Example: if we have a 2-storey landed property with building area of 1000 square feet, we would infer a build-up area of 2000 square feet. For property with an attic, we will count attic as half, meaning for a 2-storey landed property with attic and with land area of 1000 square feet, we would infer a build-up area as 2500 square feet. This information may not be 100% accurate but it is an estimate to infer build up area for landed properties which has been proven to be a reliable method for inferring landed properties’ build up area.
